Featured in the Terrace Garden Category which explores how to maximise greenspace without compromising on practicality. The category seeks beautiful planting options alongside clever design solutions and novel ideas to functional items.  The design of this space shows how to tread lightly on the planet and build a new garden that doesn't cost the earth - by being both an environmentally conscious solution and built on a socially inclusive budget.  The garden demonstrates conscious consumerism in action aiming to inspire visitors to take a planet friendly approach to creating new gardens, contributing to the bigger picture of collective sustainable actions.  Embracing its repurposed appearance, the garden featured refreshed agricultural salvage sourced from a local farmstead due for demolition contrasted with new sustainable furniture and painted features.  The richly coloured planting, home grown produce and flowers for cutting created a vibrant and productive garden.
